A very special thanks to Jo Abney, who has donated much needed bicycling gear to the team in honor of her late husband, David Abney, who was a devout cyclist for many years. March 17, 2007: We held a cyclothon on Friday in downtown Athens. We rode for five hours on trainers and raised over $300. We would like to thank everyone who stopped by to help out by bringing supplies to keep us going and by donating.

March 7, 2007: We have just had an article posted about the ride on the University of Georgia website.

March 4, 2007: We have just created our first Press Release. Please enjoy.
Mark Paton-Ash was supposed to ride with us across the country this summer. Unfortunately, while out biking recently he was hit by a car. He will be okay, but due to his injuries and recovery time, he will no longer be able to make the ride. However, we are not daunted by the turn of events. Instead it has inspired us to try even harder, and we hope that Mark will be able to join us by the end of the ride. We miss you, Mark. Get well soon!

We want to hear from you. This Believe in the Cure Tour means a lot to us, but we also hope it means something special to you as well. Perhaps you have lost someone to cancer as we all have, or maybe you know someone currently undergoing treatment. If so, we want to honor them.
